This Thursday, a week after HoYoverse officially revealed that Genshin Impact‘s upcoming version 2.7 had been delayed indefinitely, the team behind the title revealed, through a new post on its official site, a preview featuring the first details regarding the third phase of the game’s version 2.6 “Zephyr of the Violet Garden”.
As many speculated, the version will further extend the run time of both the current Ayaka rerun banner, ”The Heron’s Court”, and that of the game’s current weapon wish banner, featuring the 5-star sword Mistsplitter Reforged and the 5-star claymore The Unforged as its featured weapons. The overview also featured a first look at into two upcoming events, Spices From the West, set to run from May 14 to June 7th, and Overflowing Mastery, set to run from May 22 to May 29, 2022.

The end date for the upcoming phase was not revealed, as there is still no official estimate for the arrival of the game’s upcoming version 2.7. With that said, at the end of April, in the wake of the announcement of the delay, known leaker Lumie revealed a leak indicating that the version may have been pushed back by 3 weeks, which seems to be, taking into account the run time of the announced events, spot on.
Genshin Impact’s upcoming version 2.7 is set to bring to the game not only the debut of a new series of quests and events but also that of both 5-star Hydro archer Yelan and 4-star Electro sword user Kuki Shinobu.
