Today, during the previously announced and highly-anticipated Special Program focused on Genshin Impact‘s upcoming version 2.7 “Hidden Dreams in the Depths”, HoYoverse officially revealed, among many other things, the official trailer for the upcoming version, which features not only the game’s upcoming 5-star Hydro Archer Yelan and fan-favorite 5-star Anemo Polearm wielder Xiao but also the game’s upcoming 4-star Electro sword user Kuki Shinobu.

As you could check out in the trailer above, the new version is set to feature not only the debut of both Yelan and Kuki Shinobu, which will be present on the version’s first and second wave of banners respectively, but also that of a new The Chasm focused chapter, accompanied by a new main event.
With that said, Yelan and Xiao will start on their respective banners, which will, according to many leaks, also feature Barbara, Noelle, and Yanfei. Kuki Shinobu on the other hand will be one of the 4-stars featured on the Arataki Itto rerun banner. This will be the first time Itto receives a rerun.
The version is also set to feature the debut of two new weapons, the Aqua Simullacra bow, which is also Yelan’s featured 5-star weapon, and the event exclusive 4-star bow Fading Twilight.
Genshin Impact’s version 2.7 is set to be released on May 31st, 2022, and is expected to run for 6 weeks. You can currently take part in the third phase of Genshin Impact’s version 2.6 “Zephyr of the Violet Garden” on PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices.
