HoYoverse has finally unveiled the details of the last major update coming to Genshin Impact this year through the recent Version 4.3 Special Program. The live broadcast has once again captivated Travelers with a sneak peek into the upcoming content that the open-world RPG has in store, including new playable characters, events, and more.
As usual, the Special Program opened with the reveal of the new character banners. Finally, the President of the Spina di Rosula, Navia, is set to debut as a playable character in the forthcoming Genshin Impact 4.3 update. Navia is the latest 5-star character Geo vision holder and Claymore wielder. Another addition to the playable character roster is Chevreuse, a 4-star Pyro vision holder and Polearm user.
The first phase of the update will feature Event Wishes for Navia and Kamisato Ayaka, along with the Weapon Event Wish, which offers the new 5-star Claymore, “Verdict.” Subsequently, the second phase of Version 4.3 will present Event Wishes for Raiden Shogun and Yoimiya, with a huge drop rate boost for Chevreuse.
Apart from new playable characters, Genshin Impact version 4.3 also promises several exciting events. In the Roses and Muskets main event, Travelers will finally meet Chiori, the fashion designer from Inazuma and the owner of Chioriya Boutique in Fontaine. Ayaka and Ayato are also set to make an appearance, as they join the Traveler, Paimon, Chiori and some other characters in the Fontinalia Film Festival, which will serve as the backdrop of the Roses and Muskets event. During the festival, players will engage in a variety of activity booths, each with a different theme, including sharpshooting challenges, filming fight scenes, movie-making, and more.
Another highlight of the Genshin Impact 4.3 update is the Arataki Blazing Armor Beetle Battle Boot Camp. Players will once again join Grandmaster Hanakado and Itto, alongside a mysterious new Beetle Battle Master, to hone their skills in training Onikabuto. Additional events that the upcoming update will showcase include a new iteration of Lost Riches and a new combat challenge titled Dance of Resolute Will.
Genshin Impact Version 4.3 is slated to launch on December 20th.
