Although Genshin Impact‘s current version 2.6 is not even halfway through, new leaks regarding Yelan, the game’s upcoming 5-star Hydro Archer, continue to surface, revealing more of her kit, and her ability to deal massive amounts of off-the-field damage. But how good will she be when compared to the game’s current best Hydro Support Xingqiu?
To answer some of those questions, Twitter user and known leaker MemetrollsXD revealed a new video, this time comparing both Yelan and Xingqiu’s Elemental Bursts while on the field, thus testing both their precision and speed.
As you can see in the video, Yelan’s ”Depth-Clarion Dice” will allow her Exquisite Throw construct to perform a few more joined Hydro attacks when compared to Xingqiu’s Elemental Burst ”Guhua Sword: Raincutter”. Also, as you can check out above, Yelan’s joined attacks seem to be way more precise than Xingqiu’s Rain Swords.
It’s also important to point out that, according to many leaks, Yelan’s consecutive attacks will be able to deal way more damage than Xingqiu’s, thanks to their high HP scaling.

Yelan is rumored to be released as part of the first character wish banner of Genshin Impact’s upcoming and still unnamed version 2.7. The version is expected to be released in the second week of May 2022. Together with Yelan’s debut, the new version will also feature the debut of a new series of quests, as well as that of the game’s new Electro 4-Star Kuki Shinobu.
You can currently play through Genshin Impact’s version 2.6 “Zephyr of the Violet Garden”, which featured the debut of both Kamisato Ayato and that of the game’s new The Chasm region right now, on PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices. You can also check out all of our guides related to the title here.
