Sucker Punch Productions and Nixxes Software have officially shared details about the upcoming PC release of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut. The PC port is set to launch on May 16th and will include cross-play support for the Legends multiplayer mode as well as the introduction of a new PlayStation overlay.
One of the big updates for the PC version is the addition of full cross-play functionality in Legends mode. This lets PC players easily team up with friends on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles. Players will need to sign into their PlayStation Network account to use Legends and the cross-play features. The game will also have in-game voice chat to help players communicate on different platforms.
The upcoming Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on PC will include a new PlayStation overlay. This overlay will provide access to features like your Friends list, Trophies, Settings, and Profile. You can easily access it in-game or by pressing “SHIFT + F1” on your keyboard. It’s important to note that using the PlayStation overlay is completely optional for both the single-player campaign and Legends mode.
The requirements for the crossplay are below.

PlayStation Trophies, once only on consoles, will be available in the PC version of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut. The Trophy set is the same as the one on PlayStation 5. PC players can also go for Achievements on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Nixxes Software has focused on making sure the PC version can be played on many different computers. The game has different graphics options to work with all kinds of hardware. They have also shared the system requirements, suggesting what kind of computer is needed to play the game at different quality settings and resolutions. So, it looks like this push into PC has only benefitted everyone involved. We never imagined cross-play would be something coming to a PC release for a PlayStation game.
