Harvestella, an open-world farming RPG, launching on Steam and Nintendo Switch in November

Harvestella is a brand-new RPG simulation from Square Enix launching on Steam and Nintendo Switch on November 4, 2022.

The official announcement trailer for Harvestella showcases the storyline, the classic style of graphics and characters, and quest objectives. The game resembles a combination of Stardew Valley, Final Fantasy, and Genshin Impact.

Harvestella features changing seasons in an open world environment where you are to tend crops and more to solve the mystery of the season of death, Quietus. This is known as the “death season,” which always comes when the seasons change as the crops die. Not only that, but the dust of death makes it impossible for people to walk outside.

The key features of Harvestella include:

• Farming: In the fields, you can grow seasonal vegetables, grains, and fruits. When the products have been harvested, they can be shipped and used as ingredients for cooking. 
• Cooking and Crafting: Cooking and Crafting can help you prepare for your adventures. Eating food can help you recover HP and stamina. Depending on the type of food, it may increase your stats. Not only can you prepare food, but you can also craft other beneficial items.
• Character storylines: The characters in this story are living with several problems because of the environment. As a result, they must complete their own missions. As a player, you can witness and interact with players as they change their lives and develop true and lasting bonds. 
• Quests: There are countless quests and side quests available to you that can help change the world and offer great rewards.
• Adventuring: Several towns and dungeons are waiting to be explored. However, enemies lurk within the shadows to block your path. 
• Combat: Battle against enemies using your skills and abilities. Several weapons are available, so you can customize how you want to play the game.
• Jobs: Jobs have unique weapons and specific skills, each with different attack styles. The three jobs available include Mage, Fighter, and Shadow Walker. Interestingly, you can switch between the three depending on what you need.
