What’s Coming in Honkai Star Rail 1.5?
In the upcoming update, players will embark on a spooky adventure in “A Foxian Tale of the Haunted Mission,” managing a social media app to solve mysteries aboard the Xianzhou Luofo and exploring the new Fyxestroll Garden area. Alongside this, a new character, Argenti, is introduced with a companion mission where she challenges the Trailblazer to a duel on the Astral Express.
The update also brings a variety of events. Players can earn rewards by logging in for seven days during the update period in the “Gift of Odyssey” event. The Simulated Universe expands to World 8, offering new rewards like Planar Ornaments. Additionally, there are combat and photography events, where players can fight waves of enemies in “Boulder Town Martial Exhibition” and restore a photo album in “Stellar Shadow Seeker.”
General updates include a guest book feature to track characters visiting the Astral Express, a restart function for the Forgotten Hall to retry challenges without losing points, and a quick consumable function for automatic triggering of battle items. These updates enhance the gameplay experience with new challenges, areas to explore, and quality-of-life improvements.

How to Pre-Install Honkai Star Rail
Honkai Star Rail is available on the following platforms if you haven’t downloaded it yet:
- For iOS users: Visit the App Store.
- Android users: Download it from Google Play now.
- PC gamers: There are two options available to you. You can either play the PC version through the Epic Games Store or through the regular PC version.
For PC Users:
- Launch your PC launcher.
- Find the Game Pre-Installation button.
- You’ll find it right next to the Start Game button.
- The download will begin as soon as you click Get Now.
PC gamers are in for a treat! Honkai Star Rail can be played even while you’re pre-downloading.
Gamers on mobile devices (Android and iOS):
- Launch the game on your mobile device.
- Find the Resource Pre-Download button at the bottom-right corner of your login page.
- Your pre-download will begin as soon as you tap.
Players on mobile devices, take note! While the pre-download is underway, you will not be able to play. Perhaps you can watch a video, grab a snack, or just relax.

Unique to his character, he utilizes his own health points instead of skill points to activate his abilities, leading to efficient skill-point management. This tactic, however, necessitates either consistent healing or strong protective measures to ensure his effectiveness, especially when employing a strategy of maintaining low health for increased damage, which involves considerable risk.
Dan Heng
Dan Heng continues to be a leading Wind DPS character, a status he has retained through various updates. His skill, upon delivering a critical hit, slows down the enemy’s speed, thus providing an advantage in determining the order of turns. Furthermore, any buff he receives enhances the wind damage of his subsequent attack, targeting his enemy more effectively.
Serval
Serval is notable not just for her impressive abilities but also because players can access her character for free. Initially, her attacks might seem underwhelming, but her true strength lies in dealing continuous damage over time. This is achieved through her skill that inflicts shock on her enemies. Her Ultimate skill extends the duration of this shock, while her unique talent increases lightning damage against those affected by shock.
