The upcoming Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores content will become playable starting from April 19th. This expansion will take players beyond the Forbidden West, as they continue to follow Aloy’s story while encountering new machines and uncovering a compelling new narrative.
Set south of the Tenakth Clan Lands, the Burning Shores area presents a treacherous archipelago, formed by millennia of volcanic eruptions and violent seismic activity that have transformed the ruins of Los Angeles. Players will experience the next chapter of Horizon Forbidden West, as Aloy faces a sinister new threat to the planet hidden within these perilous and untamed wilds.
The Burning Shores DLC adds more content to Horizon Forbidden West, including new characters and experiences in an awe-inspiring yet dangerous new environment. To access the Burning Shores expansion, players must complete the main quest in the PS5 version of Horizon Forbidden West, up to and including the Singularity quest. After completing this quest, players will receive a call through Aloy’s Focus, which will initiate the new DLC content.
