Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition is coming to Steam and Epic Games Store in a few months. This definitive package bundles the base game with its Burning Shores expansion. So it’s essentially the whole package all for PC players. However, there are some benefits to being a PlayStation console player.

The PlayStation Blog announced that Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition would enter Steam and the Epic Store on March 21, 2024. Anyone who pre-orders will be given exclusive bonus content. The pre-order content includes the Blacktide Outfit and Bow, alongside resources, a Machine Strike piece, and unique Photo Mode features. Linking your Steam account to PlayStation Network unlocks the Nora Legacy Outfit and Spear, so even more bonuses for anyone who plays on PlayStation.

Aside from the expanded story, the PC version will have impressive technical enhancements. As you’d expect, PC Players can expect unlocked frame rates, customizable graphics settings, and a suite of performance-boosting technologies like NVIDIA DLSS 3 and AMD FSR. High-end rigs can leverage NVIDIA DLAA for further visual fidelity, while DirectStorage ensures swifter loading times than the PS5.

It will also come with extensive display support, so you can use ultrawide setups with resolutions up to 48:9 and even use three monitors at once. The mouse and keyboard controls are all fully customizable, but you can use controller support if you’d like. If you use a PlayStation DualSense controller, you’ll still get the game’s adaptive triggers and haptic feedback.

Guerrilla Games and Nixxes Software haven’t released the system requirements yet, but they are promised to come in the coming weeks. We imagine the requirements will be pretty high because of all that’s coming in the game, but they will be much higher if you want the triple monitor features.
