Project: Playtime, the asymmetrical horror multiplayer spin-off title from returning developer and publisher Mob Entertainment, has revealed new images of Phase 2’s upcoming Candy Mommy and Steampunk skins in an official tweet:

There is currently no concrete release date for Phase 2. But Project: Playtime is available now on PC and free to play. Despite how busy the asymmetrical horror genre is, Project: Playtime has continued to maintain very positive reviews from fans, and the devs are consistently supporting it with hotfixes and various themed events.
Today’s images confirm some of the rumors and leaks for the game. The Candy Mommy skin is creative and genuinely creepy. It successfully uses a kitchen sink of familiar candy to create a bizarre and colorful clash that is far more upsetting than expected.
The licorice arms were a particularly neat touch. Since they’re already twisted and lengthy, that candy is a perfect fit for Mommy Long-Legs’ jarring movements. The smile and swirling eyes could have been a little too corny, but the red dripping down her face results in an asymmetrical face that is pretty effective. This is definitely a more vibrant skin that will look fantastic in the existing maps.
The Steampunk skins look fairly straightforward, but that doesn’t make the theme any less fun. Cosmetics are generally not considered the most exciting additions. However, the Poppy Playtime universe is a highly visual experience, where familiar toy imagery is cleverly contorted. It can be fun to deck out your monster with new skins to terrify friends.
A couple of weeks ago, the devs also recently teased Destroy-a-Toy, formerly Recycle Mill. The Steampunk skins are definitely a match for the new map:
