How long does it take to beat Alan Wake 2?
The time it takes to finish Alan Wake 2 has been confirmed by a developer interview with wccftech. The length of Alan Wake 2 will vary depending on your playstyle and difficulty setting. However, Thomas Puha, Communications Director at Remedy Entertainment confirmed that most players should expect to complete the game in around 20 hours.
If you’re a completionist and want to find all of the game’s secrets, you can expect your playtime to be closer to 25 to 30 hours.
In the first game, Wake was forced to confront his own inner demons as he tried to find Alice, his wife who disappeared. It was set in the fictional town of Bright Falls, Washington. That took a bit over 11 hours, so the second game looks like it is doubling the time.
In Alan Wake 2, Wake is back in Bright Falls, but this time he’s not alone. He’s joined by his friend, Barry Wheeler, and they’re both determined to find out what happened to Alice. However, they’ll soon find themselves caught up in a new mystery that’s even more dangerous than the last.
The time the game takes could depend just on the main story, but we are sure that Control will have a good deal to do with how long the game takes and what happens in it.
