How to Barrel Roll in Saints Row

To execute a barrel roll, you’ll first have to get some air in a vehicle. Get your car going as fast as possible, and then head up one of the many pieces of ramped terrain in Saints Row. Once you’re in the air, you’re going to use the same command you use to drift (X on PlayStation or A on Xbox + left or right on the joystick.) Doing this, your car will begin to spin, so just keep tilting in that direction until you turn a full circle and you will have successfully executed a barrel roll.

Doing a barrel roll gives you style points and is needed for certain challenges. In addition to this, you can use this evasive maneuver to dodge bullets or deadly rockets, meaning that in the right situation it could save your hide.

Be careful on landing, though, because you don’t want to accidentally land upside down on your hood.
