Hunter Era Villain Guide

In order to become a villain in Hunter Era, you need to find a specific NPC called the Villain Recruiter located in the forest near Whale City. This is the only way as of Update 1, but additional methods may become available in the future.

Follow these directions to find the Villain Recruiter:

  • From the Safe Zone facing the ship, look left and head into the Forest entrance, near the hunter Examiner, to the right of the entrance.

  • Continue left, hugging the left wall until you see a stone ramp on the left.

  • Go onto the ramp, and just before you reach the tree, you should be in the Volcano area, as the name will appear.
  • Double jump up the wall on your left.

  • Carry on going south in the direction you were heading.
  • You’ll soon see a big tree and an area going left.
  • There, you’ll find the Villain Recruit

After finding the Villain Recruiter on Whale Island, simply accept his offer to become a villain. As of update 1, being a villain or a hunter in Hunter Eram makes no difference in terms of gameplay; it’s purely cosmetic and for roleplaying purposes. You can still take the Hunter Exam, but you won’t be ranked as a Hunter. That’s all.

If you accidentally become a villain by speaking to this NPC and clicking accept without thinking, there is a way to return to being Neutral, but it will currently cost you 25 Robux. There is no free-to-play method to return, so you either need to pay or deal with it. However, another method may appear in the future.
