A One Piece Game [AOPG] Legendary Shusui Guide

The Shusui is a top-tier sword in AOPG, boasting high damage and cool moves. The Shusui, along with a new title and accessories, drops from the Old Samurai dungeon that spawns with a “Dead Samurai corpse”.

Here’s the catch: the Dead Samurai only appears every 30 minutes in the Third Sea. So, you’ll need to keep an eye out for him. Once the corpse spawns, the dungeon will appear with him, as the corpse is the entrance to the Old Samurai dungeon.

You must defeat the Old Samurai, the boss of this new dungeon who has 1 trillion health!

Shusui’s Moves

The Shusui has a variety of moves, ranging from basic attacks to flashy, high-damage abilities:

  • M1s: Basic attacks
  • [Q] – Sharp Breeze: Leaps forward and release numerous dark slashes.
  • [E] – Whaling Cross: Two dark slashes.
  • [R] – Piercing Retreat: Release dark energy forward then backflipping
  • [F] – Dragon Hunting Blade: Unleashes numerous slashes standing still.
  • [G] – Dual Plane: AoE slashes
  • [T] – Dragonscale Cleave: One slash that rips open a void dealing damage. Aim downwards to use this move.
  • [U] – Lion Song: A cinematic, cutscene-like move that deals massive damage.  Definitely a fan favorite!

The Historical Swordsman Title: A Boost for Sword Users

The Old Samurai dungeon also drops a new title: Historical Swordsman. This title gives you some solid boosts:

  • +3.5 Sword Damage
  • 3x Defense
  • 2x Haki Damage

While it might not be the absolute best for overall damage (Hero Marines still holds that crown), it’s an excellent choice for sword-focused builds and beats out the World’s Strongest Swordsman title.

Recommended Shusui Build: Maxing Out Your Damage

Here’s my recommended build to get the most out of the Shusui:

  • Title: Historical Swordsman
  • Buffs: OG Buff, Ultra Instinct Buff
  • Gun: Any (the guide says it doesn’t matter)
  • Sword: Legendary Shusui
  • Fruit: Okuchi Fruit (Cold Mode)
  • Outfit: Blue Suit
  • Accessories: PIR Hunter Bandana, Death Cape, Death Pants, Red Belt, Scaled Gauntlet, New Outfit (the guide doesn’t specify which new outfit)

Is the Shusui Worth It?

While the Okuchi fruit might outclass the Shusui in terms of raw damage, the sword is still a fantastic option. It has awesome visuals and cool moves, especially the Lion Song. So, if you’re looking for a stylish and powerful sword, the Shusui is definitely worth the effort!
