World 2 has arrived in Anime Last Stand, introducing a brand new world and a wealth of content to the game. Additionally, Essences have been introduced as a new item that players require to evolve specific units. Among these Essences is the Light Essence. Anime Last Stand (ALS) Light Essence Guide
To get Light Essence in ALS, you need to visit World 2 and participate in the new game mode called Elemental Caverns, which is opposite the Challenges area. Go through the doorway and choose the Cavern of Light. Selecting any other cavern will not result in obtaining Light Essence.
The difficulty level you choose affects the amount of Light Essence you receive as a reward. Essentially, if you prefer an easier experience with a longer grind, select Normal difficulty. On the other hand, if you seek a more challenging experience with a shorter grind, choose Purgatory difficulty. Below is a breakdown of the Light Essence rewards for each difficulty level:
- Cavern of Light Normal – 1-5 Light Essence
- Cavern of Light Nightmare – 10-15 Light Essence
- Cavern of Light Purgatory – 30-45 Light Essence
However, there’s more to it than that. These locations are referred to as Elemental Dungeons and Elemental Caverns for a reason – each cavern is themed around an elemental type, making it easier for you to grind through them.
In the Cavern of Light, all units are vulnerable to the Dark element, making Demonic units deal an additional 300% damage! Assemble your team with only Demonic units, and each attack will inflict 300% more damage. Utilize this opportunity to collect Light Essence more easily!
Light Essence is used alongside the Hollow Robe to evolve Aisen into Aisen (Unleashed).
