AOPG Mastered Ultra Instinct (MUI) Guide
To obtain the base Mastered Ultra Instinct (MUI) fighting style, you must speak to the God of Destruction (Beerus NPC) on the new Plains Island located in the Multiverse Sea. Before speaking to him, ensure you have the following items:
- Universe’s Hope
- Saiyan Spirit
- God’s Essence
These items are obtained from the Plains Island boss, Moro, located in the Instinctual Dungeon—Moro has 600 billion health, passive dodge, and damage reduction. They are raid drops, meaning you can obtain them even without landing the final blow on the boss. But the developers have not released drop rate chances.

Unlocking Mastered Ultra Instinct Mode
Once you have the base MUI fighting style, speak to the Wise Angel NPC, also located on Plains Island. They will give you a task: dodge 500 times while using Ultra Instinct.

You also need to obtain the Perfected Instinct. Which also comes from the new Moro Plains Island Boss in Instinctual Dungeon.
An effective method for farming dodges is to use Frog Gun’s Q move on Goku’s Island to aggro tons of NPCs, then allow them to attack you while your Buso Haki is active. But ensure you turn on Buso Haki after you have aggroed all the enemies.
Mastered Ultra Instinct: Auto Dodge and Damage Reduction
- Auto Dodge: Yes, Mastered Ultra Instinct automatically dodges attacks. Observation Haki is not required. The dodge chance is random without the mode activated.
- Damage Reduction: No, Mastered Ultra Instinct does not provide damage reduction. It relies entirely on its auto-dodge mechanic for defense.
Mastered Ultra Instinct Moveset
MUI boasts a powerful and versatile moveset:
- Soaring Fist (M1):
- Celestial Whirlwind (Q): A fast dash attack.
- Dragon Fist (E): A grab move.
- Warp Kamehameha (R): An aerial downward beam attack with impressive visual effects.
- Instant Transmission (F): A teleport, similar to the teleport gamepass, also allowing teleportation.
- Supreme Kamehameha (Z): A powerful cutscene attack.
- Mastered Ultra Instinct (Y)
