Wild Hearts is a fast-paced action game with a vibrant, stylized aesthetic and a synth-pop soundtrack, where players travel through surreal and dreamlike landscapes, battling foes, and dodging obstacles. There are many different materials and ingredients you might need to progress and craft things in the game, including many that drop from Giant Kemono. This is our guide on how to get Ripclaw Spray in Wild Hearts to help!
How to Get Ripclaw Petal Derm in Wild Hearts
To get Ripclaw Petal Derm in Wild Hearts, you will just need to successfully defeat a Ripclaw Kemono and then loot for this common drop. You can find this Kemono as a hunt objective by going to the main map and looking for its icon to join a hunt in session.
The game describes this Kemono as, “As the mating season approaches, a section of the male-only Dreadclaw population transforms to become female, and migrates to colder climes in order to lay eggs. These oviparous females are known as Onitosaka, or Ripclaws. As well as their normal eggs, they also lay fake eggs filled with a sleep-inducing smoke to catch unsuspecting egg thieves unawares. In falling for this wily trick, the hunter quickly becomes the hunted.”
To swiftly take down an Ripclaw, keep an eye on its eggs, as some of the have a smoke that will induce sleep and leave you tired if you are exposed it for too long–look for fog from the giant eggs. This means you will need to move quickly to avoid foggy areas. With Harpoon and Pounder Karakuri, you should be able to deal enough damage to take this Kemono down.
After slaying/dealing decisive blows to parts of a Ripclaw, you may also get these items: Ripclaw Corona Spray, Ripclaw Sickle Feather, Ripclaw Bloom Beak, Sharp Ripclaw Talon, and/or Grand Ripclaw Plume.
We hope our guide to how to get Ripclaw Petal Derm in Wild Hearts has helped you locate the item you need. You can also use the Cyclopedia to check what obtainable materials have a chance to drop based on the Kemono if you are uncertain. The Cyclopedia also marks where their habitat is.
