GTA Online is a multiplayer action-adventure game that is playable online and was developed by Rockstar Games. For the holiday season, The Gooch is on the loose–described as a “nefarious opportunist” that is looking to “empty the pockets of unsuspecting players while causing grievous bodily harm.” However, you just might be wondering how to get The Gooch Mask from him during the encounter, and we have a guide to help you!

How to get The Gooch Mask in GTA Online

To get the Gooch Mask in GTA, you’ll have to wait 48 minutes for The Gooch to spawn and attack you, and when you are able to successfully fight off the attack from The Gooch (before they take all your valuables), you’ll receive The Gooch Mask and a cash bonus.

As players have encountered The Gooch, you’ll need at least two players in the session, and The Gooch picks a random player to assault. Players must also have money in their wallets or else you aren’t considered worth mugging! Make sure that you are not in a mission or inside a building but hanging out on the streets.

Masks are considered clothing items and are used to cover one’s identity when committing a crime, and they can also be worn as a fashion statement, which has been become more visible in GTA online.

Hopefully, you’ve been able to get the Gooch Mask from the Gooch during this year’s GTA Online Festive Surprise holiday event! Check out more GTA coverage.
