Grahm and Chally, the beloved duo who can usually be found roaming the Appalachian Wasteland to sell players unique goods, will instead be taking a break to relax and treat everyone to a special event! Fallout 76’s seasonal event, Meat Week, is returning April 27th and will be running for two weeks through May 10. Repeating every hour at the top of the hour, this extended offering will give players plenty of time to score all the prizes available for those who complete the event, including the coveted Pepper Shaker and its plans. It’s a unique weapon that can be crafted with attachments to use either laser, plasma, or shotgun ammo. There’s a special thrill to spinning up your Pepper Shaker and firing 8-shot blasts of plasma at enemies, so be sure to use our helpful guide to maximize your chances of getting one!

Getting the Pepper Shaker Guide
Completing the Meat Week seasonal event is the best way to get the Pepper Shaker plans. Randomly rewarded upon beating the event at the best level, the only other way to get these plans is through high-price vending or trading. With players asking for max caps along with legacy trades, winning the Pepper Shaker plans for free through this seasonal event is definitely your best option. Since these plans are rewarded by chance for making sure Grahm’s Meat Cook is a 3-star extravaganza, you’ll want to make sure you’re completing this event as often and as successfully as possible!
Load up the Meat and Veggies
Grahm’s Meat Cook is the main attraction of Meat Week, and the most important part of it is the food! Veggies and intestines from small animals in the area can be collected and donated at the cooler and shopping cart under the awning on the east side of the cookout. This is where most progress towards the event will likely be achieved, so it’s important to make sure this part is done successfully. The best way to make the most of your time is to circle the entire cookout, collecting veggies and meat along the way, then turn in all the supplies you gathered all at once. This is an especially helpful approach if there aren’t that many other players at the event.

Bring Feed for Chally and Wood for the Fire
It’s wise to load up on wood and Chally’s feed before heading to the cookout each hour. Adding wood to the firewood pile and giving Chally feed are two tasks that can be intermittently repeated throughout the event. Since gathering wood and cooking up Chally’s feed can both eat up valuable time, it’s much better to stock up on these items beforehand. This allows players to complete these tasks efficiently in passing as they work on other tasks. The recipe for Chally’s feed can be purchased from Grahm during Meat Week in case you haven’t learned it yet. While these two minor tasks won’t make up the bulk of progress towards the goal, they are helpful small tasks that can be easily and quickly completed for small boosts towards winning the Pepper Shaker plans.
Stock Up on Prime Meat
You’ll be gathering regular meat and veggies at the Meat Cook itself, but there is an even better meat players can gather to help Grahm with Meat Week. The Primal Cuts event will be popping at different times in each region of the map randomly through each hour. Traveling to these events and drumming on the ceremonial drums will initiate an onslaught of three increasingly difficult waves of enemies culminating in a fight with a legendary creature. In addition to fighting a legendary enemy, players will also be able to gather Prime Meat. This special meat can be turned in at the BBQ pit at Grahm’s Meat Cook for progress towards the event and the unique Meat Sweats temporary powerup.

Put Out Fires or Clean Up
It may not be surprising that cooking with a super mutant can be messy and dangerous. It will be up to players to ensure a great cookout by minding the piles of leftovers and wayward fires that will be scattering the event. These tasks are easily completed by locating them and following the button prompt for a small boost towards a successful cookout and the Pepper Shaker plans. It can be easy to forget about these simple chores, so be sure to catch them as you’re running around completing other objectives!
Play Music or Work the BBQ
Providing the tunes for the cookout or tending to the BBQ spits are two of the easiest tasks Meat Week has to offer. The dream jobs of AFKers, these simply require you to walk up to them, press the corresponding button, and watch without pressing anything as your player continuously racks up points. These low-yield tasks won’t be the difference if you’re trying to complete the event solo or with just a few players, but they can be a good way to contribute for someone who wants a break from chasing down squirrels and rabbits for a round.

That’s everything you need to know about getting the Pepper Shaker plans by completing the Meat Week seasonal event. If you found this guide helpful, be sure to check out the Fallout 76 section of our website for more!
