Bunny Day is a festive event in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, lasting eight days and begins on April 2nd, 2023 running through until April 9th, 2023 for Easter. Zipper appears on the first and last days of the event, and players can find eggs to craft Bunny Day Series DIY furniture and clothing. There are six types of eggs found on the player’s island and Mystery Island Tours, including the Water Egg.
Introduced in the 1.1.0 First Update, Water Eggs are crafting materials in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. They are edible, providing energy for players to relocate trees or break rocks. Up to 30 water eggs can be stacked together, and they can be sold for 200 Bells each.
How to get Water Eggs
Water eggs can be caught while fishing for medium-sized fish in rivers, ponds, and the sea. Players can find water eggs by spotting fish shadows in the water and casting their Fishing Rod tool in front of the shadow until the fish bites. These eggs can be obtained in unlimited numbers by continuously fishing on the island, but some players may find this frustrating when trying to catch actual fish.
Players can also obtain water eggs by trading three other types of eggs with Zipper. In addition to water eggs, other egg types include earth eggs, leaf eggs, sky eggs, stone eggs, and wood eggs. Each egg type has a higher spawn rate on Mystery Islands.
Throughout the event, players can collect various DIY recipes to craft Bunny Day Series furniture and clothing. Zipper will request players to construct all furniture items before giving them the Bunny Day bed recipe. Players can also receive random DIY recipes from Zipper if they already have the Bunny Day Bed recipe.

If all 18 furniture items are crafted before the end of Bunny Day, Zipper will gift players two unique recipes: a wobbling Zipper toy and a Bunny Day wand.
Overall, finding water eggs during Bunny Day in Animal Crossing: New Horizons involves fishing in the island’s rivers and ocean or trading with Zipper. These eggs are valuable for crafting Bunny Day Series items and provide players with energy for various in-game tasks.
