If you are playing Hunter Era, you know that Nen plays a massive role in the game. However, when you begin the game, there is no indication of how to roll for Nen, even if you have some spins. This guide aims to address this issue and help you find the NPC location to roll for Nen, Nen color, and Hatsu in Hunter Era.

Hunter Era Nen, Nen Color, and Hatsu Guide – Where to Find Gon

The easiest way to find Gon, the NPC you need to talk to in order to spin for Nen, Nen color, and Hatsu in Hunter Era, is from the starting spawn area, also known as the Safe Zone.

While in the safe zone, in front of you, there will be two NPCs: HELPER and 1 Quest Giver. Just before the Quest Giver, you’ll see an archway and some stairs. Go up the stairs.

At the top of the stairs, directly in front of you, there will be another set of stairs. Go up them as well.

After ascending the stairs, walk through the archway at the top, then quickly turn right to locate Gon, also known as the Nen Master.

Engage in conversation with Gon, and he will inquire whether you are prepared to master the powerful Nen. You will be presented with three options on the right side of the screen.

  • Roll Nen
  • Roll Nen Color
  • Roll Hatsu

Of the three, the most important is Roll Nen, as this determines your combat style; the other two are purely cosmetic/aesthetic. I was lucky and managed to roll Meruem, a 1% Legendary. Once Nen is rolled, it will automatically be placed in your hotbar at the bottom of the screen. Mine was placed in slot 2.

All three require different spins. Therefore, you cannot use Hatsu Spins to roll for Nen. However, using codes is the best way to acquire spins for everything.
