Nova Lands is an intriguing blend of exploration, combat, factory building, and island management. In this vibrant open-world 2D game, players construct bases, automate their industries, and engage with unique characters, such as the Bird NPC named Lard Stork. This guide displays the process to communicate with Lard Stork in Nova Lands.

Nova Lands Bird NPC

To talk to the Bird aka Lard Stork in Nova Lands, you need to be wearing the Knight Nick 1 skin that can be obtained by unlocking seven islands in the game.

Once you’ve unlocked seven islands, you will need to talk to Sasha who is over on the northwestern island with the other friendly vendor NPCs. They allow you to switch your skin, and you should find one labeled Knight Nick 1. When you have that one equipped, jump around to the different islands to locate Lard Stork who appears in the game at random.

When you talk to Lard Stork, they will ask you to bring them a Behemuttium Battery. This battery is a late game item that requires Reinforced Super Metal, Behemuttium Cells, and a Biofuel Bottle. This is an end of game resource, so don’t bother with it until you’ve unlocked all the islands.

Once you give Lard Stork the Behemuttium Battery, you will be rewarded with a few new skins. Lard Stork will then be available to speak with at the Space Station.
