The brand new Saints Row reboot has hit the Epic Games store and is quickly becoming one of the most played games on the client. If you read our Saints Row review, you know that there’s a ton to do in this new open-world crime sim. With some many features, challenges, side missions and hustles, an overwhelmed player might miss some key gameplay mechanics. Some missions may require you to tow a vehicle (or porta potty) with your car, and this guide will show you how.

Once you’re done here, be sure to head to our guide on how to barrel roll in the game.

Towing vehicles in Saints Row

To tow a vehicle in Saints Row, you will first need to find a vehicle with the ability to tow. Then, simply use the ability button (Left Bumper) to fire a towing cable. This cable will fire directly out of the back of your vehicle and attach to any car or moveable structure it connects with.

Holding down the button will change your camera angle and place a green reticle behind your vehicle, showing you where your tow cable will fire. If your cable is connected, you can tap the button again to disconnect the cable.

For any mission that requires towing, a vehicle with the tow ability will be provided, so you don’t have to worry about having one in your garage. Vehicles that can tow will have the ability with an icon that looks like a wrecking ball connected to a chain.

That’s everything you need to know to tow vehicles in Saints Row! If you liked this guide and want to see more, be sure to head to the Saints Row section of our website.
