Vampire Survivors 1.5 (“The Overwhelming One”) is a small patch that was added in June 2023 that included six new achievements, a new challenge stage, three new relics, new character transformation, map, and a short, special event. How to unlock the Astral Stair Stage
To unlock the Astral Stair stage, you’ll need need to reach Level 80 with any character in the Inlaid Library stage in Inverse Mode. Inverse mode can be toggled in Options after you’ve selected the Inlaid Library stage. In this mode, the layout is upside down and there are some tweaks in starting stats.
This is the second stage in the game, which you likely have unlocked if you’re ready to play the newest patch. I recommend playing with a character like Queen Sigma, which is a more durable character that is less likely to die, so you can quickly get to Level 80. Ideally, you should select items and the like that will increase luck and leveling up.
The Astral Stair challenge stage is described as a “highway used to reach other worlds and dimensions. It’s dangerous to venture through alone, but you probably won’t listen to me anyway, will you?”
