Trading up is a unique feature in Gym League. It’s a way to declutter your own gears while also getting a bit more. Below, we will explain how it works.

Where Is The Upgrade Menu For Gears In Gym League?

To Trade Up gears in Gym League, you need to go to Customize, then click the Gears menu. From there, click the Trade Up button on the right side. You need to have two of the gears that have the same rarity. They do not need to be the same gear to trade up, but their stats will not affect the stats of the next gear you get. It is randomized. Remember that this is a chance-based system, so you can end up losing your gear.

You can do this as much as you want, there is no limit to how many times you can try to do this. However, it’s important to remember that there is no pity system, so there never a guarantee it will work. We’d say only use this on items you do not currently use.

It’s better to always have one piece of equipment that is your favorite that you can use all the time. Feel free to change it, but the point is to always have something to use just in case. Remember that this is the Upgrade system, which is vastly different from the trading up system.
