Pokémon GO is about to welcome Kleavor, the Axe Pokémon, first discovered in the Hisui region in Pokémon Legends: Arceus on Nintendo Switch. This powerful new addition will make its first appearance during a special event called Kleavor Raid Day, scheduled for Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time. During the event, Kleavor will appear in three-star raids, and lucky trainers may even stumble upon a Shiny Kleavor.

To celebrate the debut of Kleavor, Pokémon GO is introducing several event bonuses. Kleavor will spawn more frequently in raids, and the odds of encountering its Shiny variant will be increased. Players can also earn up to five additional daily Raid Passes by spinning Gym Photo Discs during the event and up to two hours after it concludes.

Moreover, the Remote Raid Pass limit will be temporarily raised to 10 on Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time. This increase aims to provide trainers with more opportunities to participate in raids and potentially catch Kleavor during its debut.

It is important to note that raids are currently the only method to obtain Kleavor in Pokémon GO. At this time, Scyther, a related Pokémon species, cannot evolve into Kleavor in the game.
