Fortnite’s LEGO mode will get a big update on May 3rd, featuring a Star Wars-themed event. This partnership brings a new storyline, the LEGO Pass: Rebel Adventure, and some cool new gameplay features. It’s a lot more extensive than you’d think.

The LEGO mode seems to be the most important of the updates because Fortnite took an entire article just for it. Players will be part of a galactic clash as the Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire enter the LEGO Fortnite world. After the event, a new Star Wars-themed island will appear and stay. The storyline focuses on players aiding the Rebels in setting up a base on the island while dealing with the Empire.

The event features popular Star Wars weapons that players can acquire and craft. For example, you can get lightsabers by assisting the Rebels in constructing their village. You will directly influence the development of the Rebel Village. By providing resources and fulfilling construction goals, they can level up the village across ten different levels.

The wreckage of the Empire’s Star Destroyer is now a new point of interest, and players can find Imperial camps using Macrobinoculars, a new item in the recent update. These camps can be explored for possible rewards or left alone to become a permanent and unique part of the ever-changing LEGO Fortnite world.

Moreover, a Rebel Workbench will let players make new powerful weapons like the Bowcaster, DL-44 Blaster, E-11 Blaster, and Thermal Detonators. These items will still be usable even after the event ends. Fortnite is adding a new LEGO Pass for its upcoming event called “Rebel Adventure.” This pass includes free and premium reward tracks. To make progress, players need to complete quests to help the Rebels. The free track rewards players with in-game items like Decor Bundles and the Mos Eisley Marketplace Build.

Thee premium track, which costs 1,400 V-Bucks, unlocks extra rewards and gives players the Chewbacca Outfit right away, featuring LEGO and classic Fortnite styles. The Rebel Adventure Pass will beavailables until July 23rd, 2024.

This is a lot to take onto just one mode. The other Fortnite updates were nowhere near as extensive as this one. Star Wars, LEGO, and Epic Games may want more from this mode than we can see.
