Developer Hexworks has officially revealed its plans for the dark fantasy action RPG, Lords of the Fallen. These updates are expected to be implemented before the end of the year, aiming to introduce new features and enhance the game’s overall experience.
In a newly published Steam Blog post, Hexworks unveiled the free content roadmap for Lords of the Fallen, reaffirming their dedication to improving the game. One of the highlighted upcoming content currently in development is the new questline event. Players may also expect the following content to be released:
- Umbral armour sets and questlines
- Rhogar armour sets and questlines
- Radiant armour sets and questlines
- Two new spell packs
- Inventory expansions
- New Grievous Strikes
- Stash inventory expansion
- Additional secret boss weapon abilities
In addition, Hexwork is also working on bringing gamepad rebinding, split PvE and PvP balancing, and new Game Plus modifiers to Lords of the Fallen. Alongside these updates, a series of exciting free events, similar to the ‘Season of the Bleak’ released during the Halloween season, are also in the pipeline for Lords of the Fallen. These events are set to introduce new questlines, armor sets, weapons, spells, and more.
Lords of the Fallen faced an unsatisfactory release, marked by reported issues related to game balancing and encountered bugs. The development team responded by rolling out numerous updates, many of which were direct responses to player feedback. Thankfully, players can expect that the developers will continue to provide support, promptly addressing any issues they encounter. The upcoming updates are likely to significantly improve the overall Lords of the Fallen experience and could hopefully help repair its reputation since its launch.
Lords of the Fallen is currently available for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
