The release date for the game, Lords of the Fallen, may have been leaked. According to a tweet from Aggiornamenti Lumia, an account known for revealing accurate release dates for various games in the past, Lords of the Fallen is projected to launch on October 13th, 2023. Assuming there are no internal changes with the game’s developers, this date may indeed mark the game’s debut.

The sequel to its predecessor, Lords of the Fallen, promises an epic RPG adventure set in a colossal, interconnected world that is more than five times larger than the first game. The narrative unfolds aeons after the defeat of the cruel demon God, Adyr, whose resurrection now looms. Players will assume the role of one of the mythical Dark Crusaders, exploring both the realms of the living and the dead in an adventure featuring massive boss battles, quick and challenging combat, thrilling character interactions, and immersive storytelling.

Players will have the opportunity to fully customise their character’s appearance and select from one of nine character classes. Regardless of the initial path chosen, players can refine their character according to their playstyle by improving stats, weapons, armour, and spells.

The game emphasizes fast, challenging, and fluid tactical combat. Players can select from hundreds of distinct weapons or opt for arcane magic to launch devastating attacks. An online multiplayer feature allows another player to join the single-player campaign, but players should be prepared for potential invasions by heroes from other realms.

One of the game’s unique features is the lantern, a device with the extraordinary ability to cross between worlds. This tool enables players to access forgotten locations, discover legendary treasures, and even manipulate enemies’ souls.

The game also introduces a unique gameplay mechanic where falling in the world of the living results in a resurrection in the world of the dead. Players are given one final opportunity to return to the living state while confronting various hellish creatures.
