Lost Ark has just revealed their plans for May’s big update. Called Destined For Destruction, this future patch will include a bounty of brand new content for the game, including a new class, guild activities and other features that all players can enjoy.
The biggest of all changes coming to the game has to be the new class, the stoic hammer-wielding Destroyer. With a variety of skills that allow you to charge into the center of battle and wielding powerful gravity-defying power, the Destroyer is truly a destructive force with no equal. The fourth Warrior advanced class will make a powerful addition to any party with his focus on staggering foes.
Challenge Guardian Raids are another new feature, serving as a weekly activity for players looking for a challenge. Every week players can challenge a different set of three Challenge Guardians, each with their own special abilities and level requirements. Unlike normal guardian raids, challenge guardians will scale your item levels down to match the strength of the boss. With increased challenge comes increased rewards, which can be claimed once per roster per week.
Finally, in addition to new world activities and bug fixes, players can also look forward to new guild activities.
These new PvE and PvP guild activities will be arriving in May, and players will be able to challenge each other across Arkesia to control guild bases and resources. Here are the new activities as listed in Lost Ark’s May update reveal.
Island Siege – A PvP guild activity that allows you to battle other guilds in PvP combat. Your ranking is determined by how many points you earn from capturing objectives and defeating enemy players. Earn rewards and perks like gems, accessories, ability stones and more.
Raid Match – Enter a base with your guild and challenge the powerful Sylmael Devourer. Once summoned, you’ll have limited-time to cooperate with your guild and quickly destroy the Sylmael Devourer. The faster you kill, the more you move up in the guild rankings.
