Lost Ark is continuing to show they’ve been listening to player feedback and really trying to dial in on how they can better serve the player base and ensure that the game continues to be playable, exciting, and compelling for everyone to keep playing.
They’ve given us some insight into what we can expect in the next weekly update, which will occur on March 21st, 2022.
Injection of Honing Materials
Lost Ark will offer more Grand Prix honing rewards, launch a new casual Event Guardian Raid to provide players with more honing materials, and launch the first season of Competitive Proving Grounds!
Event Guardian Raids
You can enjoy Guardian Raids in a more relaxed setting during this event. Relax, play, and reap the benefits of honed skills. Like the Grand Prix, you can enter once per day (per roster) and earn event-specific coins to spend on rewards at a new vendor. This vendor can be found near the entrance to this new activity in major cities.
In this event, the ‘Scale of Balance’ is used to adjust the character’s stats to match the Guardian’s level, and the difficulty is adjusted based on the number of raid participants. Challenge Helgaia, Frost Helgaia, Lumerus, Ur’Nil, Vertus, Chromanium, Nacrasena, Dark Legoros, Icy Legoros, Calventus, and Levanos! This event will last about a month, and players with item levels of 250 or higher will be able to take part.
PvP Rewards
Season 1 of Competitive Proving Grounds will be released in next week’s update for players eager for PvP action. Players will be able to earn a variety of rewards, such as weekly honing materials.
Gifts
The Lost Ark teams from Smilegate RPG and Amazon Games will be releasing a gift to players the week of March 21st, after the weekly update and maintenance. This is their way of saying thank you for playing the game and helping them build a better game for everyone.
