Mario Kart Tour has revealed two new trailers featuring the Sky-High Sundae course from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and the 40th wave of Mii Racing Suits. They will be available in the upcoming Sundae Tour, which is slated to begin next week on September 5th, 2023, at 11 PM pacific time.
The Sundae Tour will introduce a Gold Wiggler alt, some obligatory recolors, a new version of Vanilla Lake 2 and more. Mario Kart Tour is available now on the App Store and Google Play. You can watch today’s new Sundae Tour trailer on the Nintendo Mobile YouTube channel:
Though a little belated, the Sundae Tour is returning from last year, so it’s hardly brimming with fresh content compared to more recent tours. Even July’s Pipe Tour added Wiggler, which has resulted in some terrific follow-up content.
Fans are sure to be pleased with the Sundae Tour’s Wild Wiggler, which admittedly looks pretty amusing as a kart instead of the ATV version seen in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The most refreshing thing about the Sundae Tour will likely be the RMX track for Vanilla Lake 2, as there haven’t been too many remix courses.
But Sky-High Sundae is still a fan favorite course from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, because of its fast-paced and challenging design, as well as some vibrant colors. So, the Sundae Tour might not be spectacular, but it should still be a nice way to wind down the summer season.
Fans also got a look at Wave 40 of the next Mii Racing Suits, which simply adds Light Blue. But today’s new trailer also gives a peek at Wave 41, which doesn’t arrive until September 19th. You can also watch the Mii Racing Suits teaser on Nintendo Mobile’s YouTube channel:
