Mario Kart Tour, the hit mobile version of Nintendo’s classic kart series, has released two new trailers featuring the Sunshine Tour and the next wave of Mii Racing Suits.

The Sunshine Tour is slated to roll out on July 25th, 2023, at 11 PM pacific time. It will feature the GCN Daisy Cruiser course and debut the GBA Lakeside Park. The Mii Racing Suits will introduce Wave 37, including a Toadette outfit.

Mario Kart Tour is available now on the App Store and Google Play. You can watch today’s new Sunshine Tour trailer on the Nintendo Mobile YouTube channel:

The devs appear to have hit the brakes a bit following the Pipe Tour. The Daisy Cruiser course might be thematic for the season, and it is getting an R/T variant, but it’s already been around for a while. So, it’s a little odd that today’s trailer concentrates on Daisy Cruiser so much, when the classic track GBA Lakeside Park is the obvious highlight.

While some minor changes are noticeable in today’s glimpses of Mario Kart: Super Circuit’s Lakeside Park, it’ll be interesting to see how the remake really adapts it for Mario Kart Tour.

The signature music is notably absent today too, though it may not necessarily be cheerful enough to emphasize summer. It was certainly upbeat, but in a more bombastic way that felt tense. It’d be terrific to actually hear a remaster, and fans have gone out of their way to restore it themselves over the years.

Nintendo Mobile’s trailers may have oddly been private for a little while, but you can now watch the Mii Racing Suits Wave 37 trailer, which also teases that fan favorite Wendy might actually appear in August’s Wave 38:
