We are getting closer and closer to the release of Mario Strikers: Battle League, the newest title in the Mario Strikers series, and to celebrate that as well as to increase the already huge hype for the title, Nintendo released a new short trailer, featuring another look at the game’s customization options as well as a short but action-packed Princess Peach gameplay.

The new trailer, titled ”Customize With Gear”, was the third one to be released today. You can check out the other two trailers, focused on the game’s mechanics, as well as on its characteristic Hyper-Strikes, at Nintendo’s official Youtube Channel.
How will gear customization work on Mario Strikers: Battle League?
As you could check out in the trailer above, as well as during the game’s latest revealed gameplay, in the game, players will be able to customize not only their pieces of gear but also their uniforms and more.
Each gear piece will have its own strengths, which will allow players the ability to refine their character’s abilities and sometimes drastically alter their gameplay. In the image below, we can see Peach equipping a pair of Muscle Boots, which will give her a total of +2 in both Strength and Speed. As you can also check in the image below, each character will be able to equip up to 4 stat changing pieces of gear.
Battle League will be the third installment in the Mario Strikers series, following the release of Nintendo GameCube’s Super Mario Strikers in 2005, and that of 2007’s Nintendo Wii exclusive Mario Strikers Charged.
Mario Strikers: Battle League is set to be released worldwide on June 10, 2022, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
