There are few strategy FPS titles that have managed to find the success of Rainbow Six Siege, with developer Ubisoft even creating iconic skins for popular characters from other IPs. Master Chief is the latest to get a new skin in the title, according to one Xbox journalist on Twitter.
According to Klobrille on Twitter, the iconic character from the Halo franchise is expected to get a new skin in Rainbow Six Siege. This is paired with a video allegedly showing the skin in-game under the Operators tab, where players can see the details of the skin. This is likely a leak as there have been no official confirmations from Halo and Rainbow Six Siege.
Master Chief has been capturing the hearts of fans since the first Halo title was released over two decades ago. Since then, the armored Spartan warrior has built a name for himself, showing up in a variety of different gaming titles. The addition to Rainbow Six Siege wouldn’t even be the strangest crossover for the hero, with players able to find him in Fortnite as well.
There’s no information about when this skin for the Sledgehammer Operator could release, but it looks like the skin is fairly along in development.
