Fans of the superhero genre love to express their fandom with collectibles, and Insomniac Games just revealed a new 1:3 scale replica of Miles Morales from the hit PlayStation 5 game.

Here’s the official tweet, featuring actor Nadji Jeter alongside the prized statue:

Nadji Jeter voiced Miles Morales when the character was first introduced in the surprise Spider-Man hit on PlayStation in 2018. The spin-off/sequel that follows Morales has mainly received positive reviews, especially regarding its story. Many fans also appreciate the representation in this genre.

Jeter has provided the motion capture for Morales, and even voiced him as far back as the Spider-Man animated reboot that ran between 2017 and 2020. It’s always great to see some love for both the actor and character, especially from Insomniac themselves.

After Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse made Morales a household name, plenty of toys and collectibles were quick to capitalize on it.

But the quality and size of this statue is in another league, so expect the price tag to show it. Die-hard fans can invest in the 1:3 scale statue for $1000.

The cost is pretty steep, but the artwork for Miles Morales’ suit is surprisingly accurate and satisfying. The statute stands at 29.5 inches tall, and includes different sets of forearms to display the Venom Blast.

The Future of Miles Morales

Although Spider-Man: Miles Morales was released as long ago as 2020, it has recently received a few updates that mainly focus on graphics, frame rates and NPCs.

Spider-Man: No Way Home referenced the possibility of Morales, basically inviting Sony’s truly successful adaptation of the spider-verse to exist in the MCU. And with many fans still looking forward to Spider-Man: Across the Universe, expect another boom in Miles Morales popularity.

So, you may want to get ahead of the curve with this new statue. Collectibles are a fun way for fans to surround themselves with artwork inspired by the entertainment that has made a personal impact of any sort.
