Today, during the newest Monster Hunter Digital Event, focused on Monster Hunter Rise’s upcoming Sunbreak expansion, the team behind the expansion revealed that Nintendo will be releasing a new Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak-themed Nintendo Switch Pro Controller as well as three new Sunbreak amiibo.
As you could check out in the image above, the controller will feature a design featuring and inspired by the monster Mazeno, one of the game’s Three Lods. After the announcement, Nintendo also revealed, in an official Tweet, that the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak new themed Switch Pro Controller will be released together with the new expansion, on June 30th, 2022.

The event also featured the announcement of three new amiibo, Canyne Malzeno, Malzeno, and Felyne Malzeno, each set to offer players an exclusive Palamune, Player, and Palico armor set respectively. You can check the visual of the three upcoming amiibo below.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak storyline will take place after the event’s witnessed in the main game. On it, players will embark on a new journey to a kingdom across the sea, where they will embark on a fight to save the kingdom from the danger proposed by the Three Lords – Malzeno, Lunagaron, and Garangolm.
