My Hero Academia Season 6 reveals official trailer and release date

A new season of the hit anime series, My Hero Academia, is set to premiere on October 1st of this year. 

My Hero Academia is ready to return this Fall with Season 6 by releasing a new trailer video along with the announcement of its premiere schedule on October 1. The anime is an adaptation of the Japanese shonen manga of the same name written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. The anime first premiered from April to June 2016 with a total of 13 episodes. The anime has become a large commercial success and now, the production released a new trailer video of My Hero Academia Season 6, providing a sneak preview of some of the episodes. My Hero Academia features a world where superheroes and villains exist through the power of “Quirks”. It follows the story of a middle school student Izuku Midoriya on his quest to become a hero even though he has no superpowers. He was given a chance to turn his world around as he inherits the “Quirk” of the world’s best superhero, All Might. In Season 6, the story will follow the “Paranormal Liberation War” arc which features a major war between the heroes and the League of Villains. 

The opening theme song for My Hero Academia Season 6 is “Hitamuki” by SUPER REVER which was previewed in the trailer. Moreover, the ending theme song is “SKETCH” by Kiro Akiyama. Meanwhile, Bones studio remains to be responsible for the animation production of the shonen anime. The production is headed by chief director Kenji Nagasaki and director Masahiro Muka.

The leading voice actors for this season include:

• Daiki Yamashita as Izuku Midoriya. He is known for his roles as Yotasuke Takahashi in Blue Period and Shu Iura in Horimiya.
• Yūki Kaji as Shoto Todoroki. He is known for his roles as Eren Yeager in Attack on Titan and Yukine in Noragami.
• Nobuhiko Okamoto as Katsuki Bakugou. He is known for his roles as Rin Okumura in Blue Exorcist and Yu Nishinoya in Haikyuu!!
