The slice-of-life sim offers players the opportunity to explore a brand new life in the shoes of someone with unique opportunities. My Time at Sandrock is the next title from Pathea Games providing this feeling, with early access starting in May of last year. While the full release was scheduled for Sept. 26, Pathea Games has now announced that the title will be pushed back a month and a half to Nov. 2.
The official My Time at Sandrock shared the news on its official Twitter account with a notice announcing the new release date for the full game. This might not be a bad thing at all, since this will have its release after many of the other major titles that are expected. While also giving the developers more time to polish, it may also end up benefiting the sales and engagement with the title as well.
The developer directly states that the reason for the delay is some issues in quality, so it most likely applies to the day one patch that’s supposed to release at launch since much of the game is likely already ready to ship. This isn’t the first time that Pathea has had to delay an update for My Time at Sandrock, but previous delays had to do with illness and other issues out of the team’s control.
There’s no new information outside of this announcement, seemingly made ahead of any appearance at Gamescom or any of the other festivities expected to begin in the next few days.
