A lot of the streaming community has been trying to get into game development recently, whether it be Dr. Disrespect or the 100 Thieves organization, it’s a market many seem eager to break into. However, developing games is like streaming in that it’s incredibly competitive, and now 100 Thieves streamer Nadeshot and Dr. Disrespect have exchanged some less-than-friendly works about each other’s projects.
While 100 Thieves is currently developing its own original IP codenamed Project X, Nadeshot shared a post about a new Creative 2.0 island that the team made inside Fortnite called Bank Heist. In response to this tweet, Dr. Disrespect dissed 100 Thieves’ development of Project X, stating “Wow, Project X looks amazing!”
Nadeshot was not going to take this, though, and responded to the Call of Duty streamer about his own game, Deadrop, in force, stating “I know how much golf you’ve been playing buddy, we all might drop dead before that atrocity of a game releases. Can’t wait to play it though!” This obviously uses a pun from the game’s name and pokes fun at the fact the game has been in development without much news.
Both titles are likely to compete with each other, seeing as they are going to both be shooter games, so there may be some animosity between the teams. It’s more likely that this is just a friendly jab between streamers who are known to be sly with each other on social media for interactions.
There’s not much information about either game or a release date, so it doesn’t exactly feel fair for either streamer to be going after the other.
