It looks like Nicolas Cage might be joining the roster of Dead by Daylight according to a leaked trailer that has surfaced on social media. It is expected that confirmation of this inclusion will be had on May 23rd, which is the anniversary livestream for the game. The character briefly shown in the leaked teaser, appears to look somewhat like his character from Renfield, but this hasn’t been confirmed. It seems more likely that it will just be Nicolas Cage himself as a killer or survivor.

Update: This has now been confirmed by the official Dead by Daylight Twitter account:

It should be noted that with all of the technology available now, it is possible that this trailer was faked. So, nothing should be considered confirmed until it is officially announced by the developers.

Dead by Daylight has a long history with collaborating with various media franchises. This has included characters from Silent Hill, Stranger Things, Resident Evil, Left 4 Dead, Attack on Titan, Halloween, A NIghtmare on Elm Street, Saw, and more.

With Nicolas Cage having been in so many different films, it would be interesting to see these different roles played out in someway in the game. Based on the teaser, we should learn more on July 5th, 2023!
