There have been a lot of leaks in the last few weeks about the potential for a new Nintendo Direct to be announced for this week, but these were rumors. Today, Nintendo officially confirmed that a September Nintendo Direct will be happening on Sep. 14 at 7 a.m. PT.
There isn’t much known about what could be shown during the September Nintendo Direct except for likely more trailers on Super Mario Wonder and Super Mario RPG. Both of which are expected to release in the next few weeks. Players will have to tune in to the show to see what new announcements and updates will be revealed.
Nintendo announced the new Direct 24 hours ahead of its official start time, once again giving fans short notice on when they can tune in and learn about their favorite titles. Regardless, those who are able to wake up early will be treated to 40 minutes of announcements from different series like Super Mario and more.
While not the longest presentation, there will likely not be any huge surprises since the developer is focusing on titles that we know release this winter. Unless Nintendo announces a new surprise for a title expected to release in Q4 2023 or Q1 2024, these will likely be things that players have heard of before.
