Nintendo Live is a celebration of the developer’s hit games and the culture that has sprung up around it, with the 2024 celebration date confirmed today for Sep. 20 and 21. Not much is known about the schedule except that it’s happening right before the Tokyo Game Show and will feature a special concert celebrating Nintendo‘s music from Splatoon 3 and The Legend of Zelda.

This news was first noticed by Japanese gaming reporter Genki_JPN on Twitter, who shared a screenshot of the event’s page showing a standard image of Link from The Legend of Zelda and some characters from Splatoon 3. In addition to the concert, there will also be the Splatoon 3 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe World Championship held over the two days.

With the Tokyo Game Show starting on Sep. 21, the last day of the Nintendo Live Show 2024, those who are in town for either event can check out the showcase happening in the same city. This also lines up with the ATLUS Persona 3 media screening, which will feature a show of the game’s movie and provide new information about the developer’s upcoming titles.

It will be a big week for gaming celebrations in Tokyo, with major developers hosting celebrations ahead of the biggest Japanese gaming event of the year, the Tokyo Game Show, on Sep. 21.
