Overwatch 2 Season 4 Details

Overwatch 2 Season 4 takes players on a cosmic journey with the latest hero, Lifeweaver, who offers biolight healing and utility. Players can explore the Overwatch 2 Space Opera and unlock out-of-this-world space opera cosmetics through the Premium Battle Pass, including Galactic Emperor Sigma.

Lifeweaver, a scientist from Thailand, uses biolight technology to heal allies and thwart opponents on the battlefield. His ultimate ability, Tree of Life, provides sustained healing and protection for teammates. The season also celebrates Thai New Year through a limited-time arcade mode, B.O.B. and Weave, running until April 25th.

The season features the new control map, Talantis, designed during the ‘Twitch Makes Overwatch’ livestream. This non-canon map, complete with death pits, jump pads, and giant fish, will be available in the Arcade from April 25 to May 1.

The space opera PvP event, Starwatch: Galactic Rescue, runs from May 9 to May 22. Players join either the Watchers or the Infinite Empire in a battle for galactic supremacy on a reworked Horizon Lunar Colony map. Exclusive event rewards are available by completing Starwatch challenges.

Battle for Olympus returns to Overwatch 2 from May 23 to May 29, allowing players to participate in explosive Free-For-All and Team Deathmatch battles as Zeus Junker Queen and other powerful deities.

The season also introduces the Gardener Symmetra Skin Epic in the Symmetra Challenge, with in-game challenges offering spring-themed rewards from May 23 to May 29. Overwatch 2’s first-ever Pride event launches on June 1, celebrating life, friendship, and love.

Season Four includes hero balance updates and a reworked ultimate ability for Brigitte. The competitive experience is improved through the removal of seasonal decay, displaying the average skill rating at the start of matches, and prioritizing backfilled Unranked matches with players of similar skill ratings.
