Dead Space Remake is a survival-horror game that is a remake of the 2008 game by the same name. The remake was developed by Motive Studio and published by EA. It is set in the 26th century and follows engineer Isaac Clarke who has to survive as he tries to save his crewmates and figure out why USG Ishimura has gone silent. Plasma Cutter Location
You will find the Plasma Cutter on a bench early on in the first chapter, New Arrivals. It is one of seven different weapons that can be found on the USG Ishimura that you can find and equip for Isaac as he tries to survive. This is an essential weapon and one that Isaac will use throughout the game.
Plasma Cutters are a modified weapon that survivors use to combat outbreaks of Necromorphs. Ideally, you’ll want to keep one or two slots filled with Plasma Energy and keep it Plasma Cutter fully-loaded to be used whenever another weapon has run out of ammo. They are particularly efficient against Slashers, Exploders, Twitchers, and Drag Tentacles. It is not effective against Swarmers.
