PlayStation has revealed an exciting update to its Game Help feature on the PS5 console. The latest addition, Community Game Help, introduces a new way for players to get assistance within games. It allows players to access hints and walkthroughs created by other community members and the hints provided by developers.
Community Game Help uses video capture on the PS5 to record gameplay during key moments and achievements in supported titles. After being reviewed by a moderator, these videos can be published as Game Help hints for players stuck in a game. These hints will be labeled “Community Game Help” to distinguish them from developer-created material.
Accessing Community Game Help hasn’t changed much. Players can still open the Control Center and find Action Cards with the “Hints inside” icon. Game Help can also be accessed through the PlayStation App for added convenience. Additionally, community-generated content can now be rated to curate the most useful and informative videos for other players.
If the system isn’t as easy as a Google search, it may not be as popular as Google hopes. Many gaming sites make guides by gamers, too, and they’re pretty easy to get to. If you’re interested, The process of joining Community Game Help is easy.

PlayStation has stated that only basic gameplay footage will be shared for privacy purposes. The clips will not include audio from microphones, webcams, or party chats. Depending on the game, online IDs or chat messages visible on-screen might be included.
Community Game Help will be available in some games later this year. PlayStation hasn’t announced a specific launch date yet. It will start with Granblue Fantasy: Relink and Stellar Blade, and more games will get support later on. This feature is only for adult accounts and is open to all PS5 players, whether they have PlayStation Plus or not.
