In a new blog post today, PlayStation has revealed the complete wave of campaigns and digital collectibles that PlayStation Star members can earn in August 2023. There will be challenges across a variety of PlayStation Plus titles, from AAA games to indies.

Available August 1st, the PlayStation Plus Games Catalog campaign has a couch co-op theme. Trying selections like It Takes Two and Human: Fall Flat will earn 50 points. On the same day, the Monthly Games Campaign will net players another 50 points just for trying one of the monthly games.

August 3rd will add the “Survival of the Fittest” challenge, which features shooters like PUBG: Battlegrounds and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. Adding free-to-play games are a nice way of making rewards more accessible for Star members. Players can earn the digital collectible “winner-winner chicken dinner – Tikka Masala”, as seen in today’s tweet from PlayStation:

A week later on August 10th, PS VR2 owners can try one of four titles to earn 50 points, including Moss and Moss 2. These titles joined the console right at launch, so the points are probably going to be easy for most users to pick up.

Finally, on August 16th, players are asked to wind down for a ‘Nice Cuppa’ digital reward. Members just need to play The Wild at Heart, Scarf, or Abzu.

These August details might not be as memorable as the PlayStation Plus milestone collectibles from last June, but the variety of titles are more easygoing and interesting. It’s always a delight when PlayStation encourages players to try out indies like The Wild at Heart or Human: Fall Flat, which recently announced a sequel.
