PlayStation has just officially announced the new digital collectibles fans can earn next month, introducing fresh challenges and rewards that will roll out throughout October 2023, beginning on the first of the month. The full details were listed in an official PlayStation blog.
The new month kicks off by celebrating the Genshin Impact 4.1 update, as multiple campaigns will be released throughout October. Completing them will give fans the opportunity to earn three different beloved critters, clearly chosen from among the cutest.
But Alan Wake 2 is far more seasonal, and coinciding with the game’s anticipated launch, anyone who simply plays the game can enjoy an Angel Lamp digital collectible. Here’s an image from today’s official blog:

The PS Plus must-plays have also been announced, and users can simply play any one of the following titles to earn 50 points:
- Friday the 13th
- Doom Eternal
- Inscryption
- Days Gone
- The Evil Within
- Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
PlayStation indulged a Halloween theme with these titles, which might be a bit obligatory but no less fun. And October is such a busy month that Alan Wake 2 was delayed, so it was smart for PlayStation to include something fans would be playing anyway.
And on October 12th, PS VR2 users can earn another 50 points by playing Hellsweeper VR, Demeo, What the Bat? or Crossfire: Sierra Squad.
The Hard Game Club is offering two different rewards next month. On October 5th, players can earn the Tempestuous Triumph Scroll trophy in Monster Hunter Rise to get a special balloon. Its design is a little quirky but still pretty charming, which lines up with the IP’s oddball cuteness in other characters.
The other collectible reward is from Elden Ring, for players who can earn the Shardbearer Godrick trophy. It’s unusually cute for Elden Ring and sure to please longtime fans.
Next month’s rewards feature some incredibly popular games, making it far more accessible than the likes of August’s campaigns.
