Pokémon fans can finally get a chance to shop at the Pokémon Center Worlds Store, by signing up for the advance lottery. The store is located at this year’s Pokémon World Championships, which will be held in Yokohama, Japan. Guests will have access to exclusive products, from clothing to bags.
The lottery will close on July 2, 2023, at 10 PM PDT, and winners will be notified via email. It may be disappointing for some, but this lottery will help prevent congestion during one of the most thrilling live events of the franchise. After all, the store will be open to the public.
A new tweet today showcases a sneak peek at some of the merchandise that fans can expect in the store:

Naturally, the store will already be out of reach for a lot of fans. But this year, the World Championships are finally coming to Japan, which is certain to boost ticket sales. Those who are planning on attending the championships should definitely sign up for the lottery, and you can find instructions for that on the official blog post.
According to that post, the store will include “two lines of World Championships-exclusive merchandise” and a “curated selection”, but the nature of these products hasn’t been specified.
The merch that has been revealed looks fantastic. It’s colorful, vibrant, and creative, so that your merch doesn’t just feel like a gimmicky souvenir. These will be worth the effort to shop at the unique store.
Fortunately, most of the merch still promises to commemorate your time in Yokohama in the artwork. The board is a particular highlight, and hopefully there will be even more cultural influence in the other merch.
