Since its release last 2016, Pokemon Go has been celebrating friendships along with fellow trainers and Pokemon alike. It is so wonderful that Pokemon Go made incredible friendships, so it is fitting that the Gratitude Pokemon Shaymin will be with us in this yearly event!
The Pokemon Go Fest will be held on June 4, 2022, and June 5, 2022. Tickets are now on sale for US$14.99 and will include access to gameplay events on both days. On August 27, 2022, a finale event for this year’s Pokemon Go Fest will happen for the first time! Pokemon Go Fest will give free access to this finale event to those who bought tickets for the June event.
This two-day event in June will have different events on each day. Day 1 will feature a free avatar item, four rotating habitat hours, and the chance to encounter Shiny Pokemon such as Shroomish, Numel, Shelmet, Axew, and Karrablast! Chimchar, Larvitar, and Litten are just a few of the Pokemon that are set to appear with the set Habitat Hour for Day 1.
Day 1 will feature a task quest involving the Mythical Creature Shaymin for ticket holders. There is also an increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokemon during the event if an Incense is activated. Global Challenge Arena is also back, and ticket holders may participate in collaborative challenges to earn rewards.
Day 2 will also feature a Global Challenge Arena, not just for ticket holders but for all Pokemon Go trainers! A certain Pokemon is set to appear on raids on Day 2 of the event. Pokemon who appeared on Day 1 will also appear on Day 2, so be ready to catch ‘em all!
Ticket holder exclusives include special stickers from Gifts and Pokestops. They can also earn up to 9 free Raid Passes when spinning Photo Discs at Gyms. Don’t forget to take pictures of your Pokemon on the days of the event. Take five images, and you might just be in for a surprise!
Everyone can purchase tickets via the in-game shop for US$14.99. Once you’ve purchased a ticket, you will receive a medal just a few days before the fantastic event.
